Hey, Readers. Yes, I’ve been off the grid for a while. If any of you read my December 5 review of Staci Troilo’s A Fathomless Affair, you may have seen my note at the end about suffering a broken femur. I was in an acute care hospital for eleven days, underwent surgical repair (the doctors say I’ll now set off metal detectors), and then went into inpatient rehab on December 6.
I’m being discharged later this morning. I can’t wait to be home with my husband and see my kitties! I’ve missed those little furballs, and John says they have missed me as well. I still have a few weeks to go before I can put weight on the leg. The
Anyway, I don’t plan to be back online until January. As a reminder my novella, A Death at The Inn, the seventh of the Harbor Pointe Series, is still available for preorder and will release on January 2. I’ll have some more announcements in early January – one of which I’m really excited about.
I apologize for not making the blogging rounds the past few weeks. I’ve had my laptop with me for part of the time, but between recovery from surgery and therapy, I’ve had little time. Lots of days after therapy, I’ve been exhausted. They made me work, but that’s a good thing. It doesn’t take a long period of inactivity to lose what muscle tone and strength I had. But enough about that.
