    • Our visit to Arlington and the memorials was sobering. It’s something I’ll never forget and I feel blessed to have been able to see them. Grateful for all those who gave all so that we might live free.

  1. Wish I’d seen this sooner. Still sharing it, though. Just because Memorial Day is past doesn’t mean we should forget these sacrifices. Beautifully touching post, Joan! 🙂 <3

      • It is, indeed. I haven’t been to Washington in many years, but I’ll never forget my trip, in particular, visiting Arlington and the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials.

      • It’s a town rich in history. We saw a lot during our visit and there’s still so much to see. The Lincoln Memorial was amazing as was the War memorials. And seeing the eternal flame on JFK’s grave.

I love hearing from readers. Let's talk!
