Hello, readers. It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for the weekly wrap up.
I promised myself that I would show a new photo this week. But as it is I’ve only taken pictures of my cats.Β Nothing wrong with showing cat pictures, but I can’t show one cat without showing the other.
This is Tucker. I call him the bold one. He’s very headstrong and also very spoiled. Of late, I’ve been coming home to find one of my shoes in the hallway. Doesn’t take much to know Tucker is the culprit. Keeping him out of the closet is impossible, as he knows how to open the door. He always gets the same shoe, but earlier this week, he grabbed the pair.
This is our Manx cat, Little Bit. I call him the brave one. He’s also very sweet. When he was a small kitten, he used up one of his nine lives from being attacked by our dog. We rescued him from her jaws, and he survived. He put up a good fight with her and she carried scars on her nose until her death. Little Bit thinks my desk chair belongs to him at night. It’s his favorite sleeping place.
So there you have it. Not one, but two recent photos. And I promise to have a new one next week!
In case you missed it, friend and fellow author Mae Clair was a guest on my site this week. She has a brand new release which I know you’ll love. Click here to read about Cusp of Night.

Loved meeting your beautiful cats. I laughed at the shoe story my cats haven’t thought of that one:)
There hasn’t been much that Tucker hasn’t thought of! He’s something else. Thanks for much for visiting today!

Thanks for the reblog!

Hello Tucker and Little Bit! Many thanks for the kind mention π
Thanks for the good article, Nicholas!
One day you’ll come home to find Tucker wearing a shoe on each foot!! lols. They are both cuties, for sure. Thanks for sharing your pics and these great links, Joan! Have a great weekend. π
We love our kitties, that’s for sure. And you’re right. I wouldn’t put it past Tucker! LOL. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Gosh, if my dogs could get into my closet, I’d be out of shoes in minutes. And I have a lot of shoes!
The cats are adorable. I love how Little Bit curls on your chair. Too cute.
Happy weekend, Joan.
I know how your dogs love stuffed toys, so I see the need to protect your shoes. π Little Bit is a sweet little guy. He’s claimed that chair for himself and sometimes I have to fight for it!
I love the photos, Joan! Then again, you know how I am about cats π
I had to chuckle about Tucker stealing shoes. He must think he’s a dog, LOL. And Little Bit curled in the chair looks so adorable. That’s quite a story about how he ended up in your home. I’m glad it all worked out well for him, the little guy.
Happy Friday, and thanks for the mention of Cusp. I’m looking forward to more pics in the weeks ahead, too!
Mae, it was scary seeing that precious little kitten being tossed around. But he’s a survivor and we’re so glad to have him in our home. Right now, he’s “helping” me type (by trying to push my laptop away so he can get into my lap)!
And Tucker… he’s just Tucker.
Cats. You gotta love them π
Lovely to meet your cats, Joan.
Robbie, those cats are spoiled rotten but we love them. They are good companions.
