Hey, everyone. It’s the last Friday of the summer. Here in Texas, we’re moving into more autumn-like weather. One morning the low was in the upper fifties. Quite a contrast from our triple-digit summer temps.

Our recent rain helped the grass to grow, and everything is a lot greener than it was a month ago. I’m afraid I may have scared away the rain. One of my recent purchases was a wireless self-emptying rain gauge. Since we installed it, we haven’t had any rain. Go figure!

That wraps up another week. I never get tired of this view. Things are still green here (thanks to the recent rain, but fall is on the way. The past few years, I’ve used my iPhone to take photos, but I even dragged out my Nikon camera this week and snapped a few shots. Paul Simon, anyone?
