There were times when I thought this day would never come, but Unseen Motives will release this week. For those of you who have followed this blog a long time, you probably thought it wouldn’t happen either. But today I’m excited to reveal the cover. Do you see anything “unseen?”

If you’d like to read the blurb as well as a sneak peek at a crucial scene, click here.  And I’m excited to announce that I’m already planning the outline of the second book of the Driscoll Lake Series, Unknown Reasons.

In other writing news, if you like Christmas stories, a new anthology of short stories featuring various authors is coming soon. I’ll post more about that as soon as I know the release date. Its been a busy year for me, writing-wise, but it has also been a fun time. I look forward to writing more stories in the upcoming year.

Last, but not least, I want to wish all my readers in the United States a Happy Thanksgiving. Whether you’re traveling or staying home, I hope you enjoy time with friends or family. (And don’t eat too much turkey!)

  1. Oooh, I positively love the cover! I didn’t see the man in the window at first. Very creepy and spooky. And the excerpt ends at such an awesome spot.

Congrats, Joan. I’m really looking forward to reading this. Once November is over, I would be happy to splash something on my blog for you!

    • Mae, would love to guest on you blog and plan to contact you soon. Glad you liked the cover. I had a general idea, and a friend added the “unseen” person in the window.
