Hello, everyone! Before I continue, the release date of Cold Dark Night has been delayed a few days. I’ve had some unexpected personal things come up and need a few more days to prepare. Anyhow, instead of May 24, the new date is Tuesday, June 1.
Most of you who have followed my blog a while know at least a couple of things about me. (1) I’m fascinated by full moons, and (2) I love music. Enough to create playlists for most of my books.
This one is likely the most eclectic – a haunting ballad, a cheerful song from the movie Grease, selections from Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, and more.
Like my other playlists, the songs all fit a particular scene or capture a mood.

I’m beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks, Gwen.
I’m so looking forward to this next book in the Madeira series, Joan 🙂
Thanks, Harmony!
So many good songs on that playlist, Joan. And I positively love Long Black Veil.
I’m so looking forward to the release of Cold Dark Night!
I’m looking forward to releasing it, Mae. I do love the song, Long Black Veil. Let’s just say it was “inspiring.”
🙂
Now I’ve got “You’re the One That I Want” stuck in my head.:-) Good play list!
Thanks, Priscilla! That one came as a surprise when I wrote a particular scene. 🙂
Music is one of those things we have in common. This is a fun playlist. Excited for your release.
Thanks, Craig. Yes, we both love our music!
Your playlist sparked a lot of memories, Joan.😉
Hopefully some good ones, Jill!
One of the wonderful aspects of being an indie author is having flexibility, Joan. Life happens and often we have to push our goals out. I am excited about your new release and look forward to reading it. Great playlist! I love, love Levon Helm. He was such a unique performer. All of these songs spark memories!
I also loved Levon Helm both as a musician and an actor. I enjoyed his performance in Cole Miner’s Daughter and The Right Stuff.
Great playlist, Joan. I love all these songs
I’m fond of this one myself, John. A bit of a mix, but that’s okay. 😉
